The EA FC 26 (formerly FIFA 26) Web App and Companion App are the best way to kickstart your Ultimate Team journey before the full game launches. These apps allow you to manage your club on your PC or mobile device, open packs, and handle squad management anytime, anywhere.
EA FC 26 Web App is Now Available!
The EA FC 26 Web App is not officially live and accessible via your web browser but the previous installment Web App is live. To use it, you need to have an active Ultimate Team club from EA FC 25. EA typically launches the first Team of the Week alongside the Web App release.
To ensure access, EA Sports requires you to meet these conditions:
- You must have created an Ultimate Team club before August 1st (in EA FC 25).
- Your EA FC account must be active when the app launches.
- Your account must be in good standing (no bans or restrictions).
EA FC 26 Companion App Release
EA Sports is expected to release the Companion App a week before EA FC 26 at 8:00 PM CET, a day earlier than usual. Here’s how that translates across time zones:
- 2:00 PM ET
- 7:00 PM BST
- 8:00 PM CET
The Companion App will be available for free on both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play Store).
How to Download the EA FC 26 Companion App

What Can You Do in the EA FC 26 Web App & Companion App?
Just like the previous versions, these apps provide almost full access to your Ultimate Team, except for playing actual matches. Many players even prefer managing their teams exclusively through these apps. Below are the key features:
Starting Screen
The home screen provides quick access to key features such as your squad, Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), and the player market. If you’re gearing up for the Weekend League, you can also trade in points for qualification directly from the app.
Squads & Team Management
Building your dream team is at the core of Ultimate Team. The EA Sports FC Web and Companion Apps allow you to:
- Manage your active squad.
- Adjust tactics and formations.
- Switch between multiple squads with Selection Management.
Squad Building Challenges (SBCs)
Complete SBCs to trade players for exclusive rewards, including packs and special players unavailable in the market. Many players find SBCs more convenient to complete via the apps. Be cautious, though—you might accidentally trade in a player you wanted to keep!
Transfers & Market
Like real-world football, Ultimate Team has a thriving transfer market. Whether you’re buying your favorite players or selling duplicates, the transfer market is fully accessible on the Web and Companion Apps.
Stadium Customization
Since FIFA 21, players have been able to customize their stadiums. While you can edit stadium features in the apps, it’s best done in-game since you can’t visually preview the changes.
Packs & Shop
Opening packs is a major part of Ultimate Team, and you can do this within the apps. You can open both purchased and earned packs directly from the Web and Companion Apps.
Club Management
The Club section gives you access to all your items, including players, staff, and consumables. A unique app-only feature is the ability to restore quick-sold players—up to five every 30 days.
Rankings & Leaderboards
You can check your rankings against friends and other EA FC 26 players. The Profit from Trading tab is particularly useful for tracking your market activity and seeing whether you’re making a profit or loss.
