The 29-year old defender has been with Guangzhou Evergrande for 5 seasons now and has been a very stable factor at the back. This season he has been getting assists in as well.
- Gervinho | 5 assists in 1061 minutes
This guy you know. The former Arsenal and AS Roma star, known for his supreme dribbling skills, has not been in his most impressive form since he arrived in at Hebei CF. Nonetheless the Ivorian winger has gotten in 5 assists so far and has been showing his real quality on some occasions. Let’s hope he is just getting started.
- Fredy Guarin | 5 assists in 1779 minutes
Already a key factor in Shanghai Shenhua’s midfield. The Colombian playmaker made a surprise move from fallen giants Internazionale to the Super League, but seems to feel right at home in Shanghai. With 5 assists and 3 goals in 20 appearances he seems to still be transitioning but starting to find his groove.
- Jael | 5 assists in 404 minutes
Impressive stats for the Brazilian who used to play for Chongqing Lifan. Indeed, used to, Because the playmaker very recently signed with his old club Joinville in Brazil.
- Ivo | 5 assists in 1869 minutes
Henan Jianye is not a team you hear from too often, but they are very stable this season and currently in a very impressive 7th place. And 29-year old Brazilian midfielder Ivo has been one of their top performers so far. Arriving from the K-league Ivo had no trouble adapting to the Asian culture and has been a in top form so far.

And 12 goals. Need we say more? The Chinese 24-year old Shanghai SIPG star has been an absolute commercial for Chinese football so far. This guy has MVP written all over.
- Alex Teixeira | 7 assists in 1750 minutes
Alex Teixeira shocked the world not too long ago by signing for Jiangsu Suning. Many thought the former Shaktar man would sign for a European giant like Liverpool. But Teixeira decided to move to the Super League on a record-breaking fee, and has been impressive so far.
Despite some struggles here and there his insane talent is showing more every week.
- Cao yunding | 7 assists in 1651 minutes
Another Chinese national who has been doing very well this seasons. While some folks saying the Super League is all about the foreign players now, it is obvious the local players are still performing well. 26-year old Cao from Shanghai Shenhua played 102 Super League games for the club so far and is a very stable factor in midfield – netting 3 goals as well this season.
- Elkeson | 8 assists in 1631 minutes
It has been one of the biggest transfer shocks of last season – Guangzhou Evergrande selling Elkeson to rivals Shanghai SIPG. Asian football followers will know the Brazilian striker mostly for his extremely productive 2013 and 2014 years, we he scored 25 and 26 CSL goals for the club..
After Sven-Goran Eriksson picked him up at the start of this season the Brazilian is showing he can do more than just score goals. With 8 assists and 6 goals he has been extremely important for SIPG so far.
- Gao Lin | 10 assists in 1697 minutes
Gao Lin has been the face of Chinese soccer for a while now and this season is no different. With 1 assist every 2 games, and picking up 5 goals along the way, the Guangzhou Evergrande forward is a true MVP.
