Media sources all across Europe are showing headlines about Jiangsu Suning taking over Italian striker Stefano Okaka. The Italy internationals arrival to the Super League will be made official any day now. While there are a lot of figures going around it is certain Jiangsu payed top prize for their new signing.
With the Super League transfer window opening only a few days ago we have already seen a lot of activity from the far east. Most notable where the transfers from Hulk, Zahavi, and Modeste. To this list we can soon add Stefano Okaka.
The Nigerian born Italy international has been with Belgian side Anderlecht for one year now. Before joining the local Pro League was under contract with AS Roma, Parma, and Sampdoria. The former Italy youth international joined Anderlecht on a €3 million fee only to leave after 35 official games.
Jiangsu Suning who are currently ranked third in the Super League will feel the pressure to get busy on the transfermarket. While competitor Shanghai SIPG have completed the record-breaking deal of Hulk, board leaders Guangzhou Evergrande have been heavily linked to some serious reinforcements in the name of Luiz Gustavo.

The answer from Jiangsu is the signing of Stefano Okaka. It remains to be seen if this is the only activity we will see from the club owned by investment group Suning. It is very likely they will be adding more and bigger names to their ranks soon.
The exact amount the Suning Retail Group will be transfering to Anderlecht is a mystery but it is clear Okaka does not come cheap. Belgian sources report that Anderlecht negotiated a bonus structure that can run Okaka’s price up to €17 million.
