Turkish media outlet FANATIK reported today that before the start of EURO2016 Turkish club Besiktas received a 10 million offer for Ricardo Quaresma. With the flamboyant Portugese his performance in the European Championship the Turkish champions think they can drive up the price.
The report does not mention a specific name of any Chinese club but FANATIK do mention the amount of 10 million. The 32-year old winger has been with the SuperLig outfit for one year now, joing them from FC Porto. Altough Quaresma has been performing well, any offer in the region of 10 million would be too good to decline for Besiktas.
In the recent European Championship ‘Q7’ has helped his side reach the quarter-finals by scoring a late winner against Croatia. Because of his good performance and Chinese clubs being well known for their willingness to spend big, Besiktas will now feel they can ask more than the initial 10 million.
A full international since 2003, Quaresma has over 50 caps for Portugal and represented them at three European Championships.
